This is the perfect small bag for days when you don’t need a backpack, but still need more than pockets. I slightly ummed and ahhed about buying it, because I wondered how often I would use it. But turns out I use it LOADS and have no regrets about buying it.
Despite it’s small size, you can fit a surprising amount of stuff in if you want to. When it arrived, I immediately tested it by putting a bike lock, water bottle, bike lights, small umbrella, and rain jacket into it. And it all fit nicely, no questions asked! Something I wondered about was whether the bag was soft or rigid (i.e. reinforced like the main compartment of a Shazam), as I figured this might affect how much you can choose to slightly overfill the bag if you really want to. But it’s soft, not rigid, so it’s pretty flexible in terms of capacity.
The design is very good – like I said, the main compartment can fit quite a bit of stuff if you want it to, and the mesh pockets and front zipper pocket are handy for organising small items. I’ve never wished for another pocket or a different element to the design, so I think they really figured it out.
The stabiliser strap works great for when you’re riding, and comes on and off really easily. I keep the stabiliser strap in the front zipper pocket so it’s always there if I need it (and so I don’t lose it).
Another thing I like is that when you travel somewhere with a bigger bag or suitcase, it’s so easy to throw this bag in to use as a day bag when you’re out and about on your travels.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that a lot of concerts and one day festivals have started having this rule where you can’t bring in a bag that’s bigger than an A4 sheet of paper. And this bag meets that criteria, so it’s the perfect gig bag too.

Very pleased with my orange Munin Mini Messenger bag. It’s lovely and orange, which contrasts well with the inside lining. Only came today but my initial impression is that the strap system is very soft and it does really stay in place. I look forward to using it on the bike, will match the pedals! 🙂
